Samsung Galaxy Mini aka Pop has been out for almost a year now and is pretty popular among budget Android buyers. Looks like, it is getting a successor now. A new smartphone dubbed as Samsung Galaxy Mini 2 S6500 aka Jena has leaked online and features some upgraded specs over the original.

Samsung Galaxy Mini 2 is expected to come with 800MHz processor, 3.3 inch HVGA display, 3GB of internal storage, Android 2.3 (no word on ICS update), 3MP camera and HSDPA. According to the leak, it will be launched in February 2012, which means, we can expect an announcement any day now.

  1. finally something with a proper specs. price it at 8-9k & we have a winner. hope Samsung keep the ram at 512Mb and processor is not part of the ageing ARM v6 architecture.
