Samsung’s phablet Galaxy Note has got its first CyanogenMOD 9 port. Devs have released an experimental build of the port yesterday, and clearly there is still a lot of work to do.
While some of the important hardware components like touchscreen, GSM, Wi-Fi are working, work is in progress for others like camera and Bluetooth. If you are one of those, who like to try new Android builds, downloads are available at XDA and this build can be flashed via ODIN as well as via CWM recovery.
So, all you have to do is make a device backup (as you will want to come back to Gingerbread for now), and flash the CM9 build.
Samsung Galaxy Note CM9 Experimental Build Details:
Based on: Android 4.0.3
Working: Wi-Fi, 3G/GPRS/EDGE Data and Calling, Audio, Touchscreen as well as the S-Pen, GPS
Not Working: Bluetooth (unstable), Battery Usage, MTP Mode, Camera
