Galaxy Note might still be en-route to many markets across the globe including United States, but a recent Wi-Fi interoperability certification has fueled the rumors of its upcoming successor.

Samsung GT-N8010, which recently got its Wi-Fi interoperability certificate, is being suggested as that successor, mainly because of its model number. Samsung does not have any other smartphone in N-series apart from Galaxy Note GT-N7000, so another device with a higher model number might be a successor to this tablophone.

Chances are that it might turn out be a totally new device, but there is no other supporting document right now. There are no specifications known apart from the presence of Wi-Fi, so we will have to wait for a while to get to know more information about this device.
