Entry-level Gingerbread smartphone LG Eclypse has been launched by two Canadian telecom operators. This slide-out QWERTY is being sold for just $250 without contract on both the telcos, while if you want a three year contract, then Bell will give it to you for free, but Virgin is asking for $49.99. Virgin Mobile is also Eclypse on pre-paid for $199.99.
LG Eclypse features a 3.5 inch display with 320X480 resolution, 5MP rear camera, Android 2.3.4, 1GB internal memory, and 1500mAh battery.
