HTC is expected to launch a new tablet along with two Android smartphones at next year’s Mobile World Congress in February. This Android tablet will be running on Android 4.0 and will come with NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad core processor, which was last seen in Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime.
The tablet launch will be accompanied by the debut of two Android smartphones, one of which will also be powered by Tegra 3 (probably HTC Edge that was leaked recently). There is no word on the other smartphone.
This upcoming tablet launch was also highlighted in a recent report by Reuters and HTC CEO Peter Chou was quoted saying, “Tablet is a market we would like to try and test, to see whether we can make ourselves stand out and prevent a me-too product.”
Company has only released two tablets so far and only one of them has made its debut outside US.
