Let me start with the fact that these are just a few JavaScript benchmarks and more detailed benchmarks will be available in the days to come. But, it is important to see how Motorola has drastically improved the Gingerbread browser performance and the same is visible in the following results.
It is pretty clear by now that stock Android browsers in versions below Honeycomb don’t really use the full capacity of the processing power available and JavaScript performance is really bad, but Honeycomb has seen a great deal of improvement and similar improvements are expected in ICS.
