United States International Trade Commission has announced that it will review the judge’s findings in the recent decision that might lead ban of HTC’s Android phones in US. It was determined in the decision that HTC’s Android smartphones infringe two of Apple’s patents, while two others do not.

A six-member commission will review infringement and validity on all four aforementioned patents and whether a correct interpretation was made, this announcement comes after both the parties Apple and HTC petitioned for a review due to their own reasons.

If ITC review commission finds that HTC did actually infringe Apple’s patents, it could ban the entry of its Android phones from entry into the United States. There are a lot of other scenarios that can happen, but we would not go in them here, if you want the whole ITC notice about the review announcement is here.
