Deutsche Telekom has announced that it will be launching first LTE tablet in the form of Galaxy Tab 8.9 in the German market.  Tab 8.9 LTE will support theoretical download bandwidths of up to 100 Mbit/s and up to 50 Mbit/s for uploads. It is scheduled for sale from December 2011.

Announced just days before IFA, Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE is currently on display at IFA Trade fair and T-Mobile Germany is the first telecom carrier to declare that it will be launching the device.

Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE features 1.5 GHz dual core processor, Android 3.2, 3MP primary camera, and 8.9-inches WXGA (1280×800) display, but Deutsche Telekom press release still states the old Tab 8.9 features, which I suppose is a mistake from their PR dept.
