Samsung announces Galaxy Xcover rugged Android phone

Samsung has announced a new addition to its Galaxy series today in the form of rugged Xcover. Samsung Galaxy Xcover will be available in Germany starting this October, while there is no word on availability elsewhere.

The smartphone should not priced very high considering the features, which include Android 2.3, 3.65 inch scratch resistant tempered glass display, 3.2 MP camera, WiFi, GPS, and 800 MHz processor.

Xcover is dust resistant, can withstand accidental drops and one meter water for up to 30 minutes.

  2. I does have a front camera. Just take a closer look at the top right of the image and you will see a lens there.

  3. But that could be the light sensor as well……even if I had missed it (I hadn’t), do you think the folks at gsmarena have missed it as well??
