As we reported earlier, Beetel has officially launched its Android tablet in India. It has been named “Magiq” and will be available in the market starting next week for a price of INR 9,999.

Beetel Magiq features a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, Android 2.2, 7 inch display, 2 MP Rear/Front cameras, 8 GB of internal memory and a 2200 mAh battery. Tablet also offers 3G and WiFi connectivity along with the GSM calling support. Company has also announced that Magiq is upgradable to Android 2.3 in the future.

Data Offer: Airtel is providing bundles data plans with the tablet. Buyers will get free 2GB of 3G data on both prepaid and postpaid connections for 2 months.

If you haven’t noticed till now, Beetel Magiq is actually a rebranded Huawei Ideos S7 tablet with few upgrades.

  1. Does it have a capacitive touchscreen? Ideos S7 has a resistive one. If its resistive then its a huge letdown.

    what else do you want in a 10000 rs tablet. Every other tablet around this price range has ARM11 processor and this one has got a snapdragon processor running at 1Ghz which is based on ARMv7, that means it will also support flash player.
