LG has announced today that it will be releasing its entry-level QWERTY smartphone Optimus Pro in South Africa later this year. The smartphone will be available at a recommended retail price of 1,799 Rands starting October.

LG Optimus Pro features Android 2.3, 800 MHz processor, 2.8 inch display, full QWERTY and 1500 mAh battery.
