Till now, all we have heard from Motorola were the promises to unlock the bootloaders of its Android smartphones, but today we have finally saw some of it becoming reality.

According to Eval on XDA, unlock is possible on the latest leaked Taiwan/HK Gingerbread firmware. He has tried it and it works with the good-old “fastboot oem unlock” command on ADB.

This has finally made the wait for Atrix Gingerbread update interesting, and I might finally start thinking of going for it. Gingerbread, awesome specs and unlocked Bootloader – this deal is great. 🙂
