Acer is all set to launch its two Honeycomb tablets in Brazil in the second half of this year. These tablet are expected to be Iconia Tab A500 and A100.

“The company will introduce a 10-inch and a seven-inch tablet computer that will run on Google Inc’s Android 3.1 operating system”

Emmanuel Fromont, Acer’s corporate vice president and president of Pan-American operations.

Acer is also looking to assemble the tablets in the Latin American country itself in the future, but it initial model will be imported.
