ZTE’s pretty popular Android smartphone Blade, which has been launched in various countries under different name, might get Gingerbread update. But a lot will depend on the telecom operator or company to pass it on to their version of Blade.

According to a report in ITProPortal, ZTE is evaluating the possibility of upgrading the Orange San Francisco (aka ZTE Blade) offering to Gingerbread in 2H 2011.
