Motorola has started pushing FroYo update for T-Mobile version of Motorola Defy in United States. Update is available via the usual way [Over-The-Air] and you will soon get a notification on your Motorola Defy to update your phone, or you can check directly by going to Menu > Settings > About Phone > System Update.
Update size is 118 MB, so it would wiser to download it when you are connected to a WiFi network.
When can India expect an official rollout of FroYo on Defy ?? Have emailed Motorola India. Lets see what they say.
Update: No confirmation nor commitment from Motorola India in their reply but they sent a link showing upgrade schedules for various models that shows Q2 for Defy’s 2.2 upgrade.
