Looks like Samsung is not going to leave the much-successful Galaxy S line behind. After launching a slight modified Galaxy SL, company is planning to launch Galaxy S 2011 I9001 in Russia.

This smartphone will go on sale by end-of-April in the country. Samsung Galaxy S 2011 Edition will feature a 1.4 GHz processor, Android 2.3, 1650 mAh battery, 4-inch Super AMOLED display, TouchWiz 3.0, and 8 GB internal memory.

The smartphone will also be called Samsung Galaxy S Plus in some markets.
