If you are one of those guys who went and bought Motorola Charm or even Flipout and thought that company might push FroYo for them. Well, you luck just ran out.
According to the latest update to software releases for Android smartphones, Motorola has clearly stated that Charm and Flipout will stay on Android 2.1 and will not receive any further update.
There are no reasons cited for the decision, but one can expect lower number sales be one of them. So, if you would really like to have updates for your Android smartphone either go the unofficial way or just buy one of those hotcake Android devices.
