Sony Ericsson today said that company will be going with Android for the time-being; however it is keeping an eye on Windows Phone 7. “We are keeping a watching brief,” Steven Walker, acting head of global marketing at Sony Ericsson told Pocket-lint.

Walker further stated that SE is focusing on Android and trying to create a strong ecosystem for consumers. “We need to do this that there will only be a certain number of eco-systems that will prevail. Developers won’t develop for a 17 eco-systems. Consumers won’t chose between a 100 different eco-systems. In the end only a certain number will prevail.”
