:Sony Ericsson yesterday confirmed that Sony Ericsson’s new Xperia Arc Android smartphone will get Honeycomb update. Company said that the update will be “hell lot of quicker this year,” so we might see an update within a month and half of the official Honeycomb launch.

“We’re well aware of the challenges in 2010 where we’ve been later in updating phones to the latest version of Android when it’s been made available,” Nathan Vautier, MD of UK and Ireland for Sony Ericsson said.
