MetroPCS today launched their last Android smartphone for the year “Huawei Ascend”, which is available instantly in MetroPCS stores and online at http://www.metropcs.com.

An entry-level smartphone powered by the Android 2.1 (Eclair) operating system (OS), Huawei Ascend is priced at $179. It comes with a 3.5-inch HVGA, 3.2 MP, and Wi-Fi.
