Samsung today announced that the company has sold over 1 million Galaxy Tabs since its launch two months back. Company has also increased its sales target to 1.5 million units for this year.

For only comparison sake, Apple’s iPad sold 1 million units in 28 days of its launch. The major deterrent in the sales of Galaxy Tab is its price, which according to everyone is on a steep side.

Region-wise Galaxy Tab sales:

Europe – 400,000

North America – 300,000

Asia – 100,000
