PC and smartphone manufacturer Acer is looking to grab 15% to the growing tablet market share, as its tablets start reaching stores in next quarter, reported Bloomberg.

Tablet shipments are expected to reach 50 million units next year, and Apple and Samsung are already trying to capture most of it. Acer recently introduced two Android tablets along with a semi-tablet, which will be priced between $299 and $599, depending on configuration, screen size and connectivity, Acer Chief Executive Officer Gianfranco Lanci said.
