Verizon finally gave the official word about Droid 2 Global smartphone. Today, on its Facebook page Verizon announced that it will be launching Droid 2 Global for $199 with 2 year contract after a $100 rebate.

Verizon Droid 2 Global comes with 1.2 Ghz processor, global telecom world compatibility with support of both GSM and CDMA bands, 8 GB internal memory, 512 MB RAM, Android 2.2 and Bluetooth 201 with EDR.
