VisualOn’s production-proven Android solution is powered by VOME (VisualOn Media Engine), an OpenMAX compliant media framework that is capable of working directly with hardware and/or software multimedia components. VOME and VisualOn’s multimedia software stack have been highly optimized for quality and efficiency on ARM-based processors, providing customers a tremendous opportunity to differentiate and shorten their time to market.
VisualOn contributed multimedia software will begin to ship with the Gingerbread release of the Android operating system.
