YTL Communications Sdn Bhd has said that company is working on Android smartphones and will be launching them in next three months. YTL is also gearing up to launch 4G in the country, so it will be interesting to see that if the launched Android phones are 4G/Wimax compatible.
“We are working on our own Android platform phones and it is likely to be introduced in three months,” said executive director Datuk Yeoh Seok Hong.
Company will itself not be manufacturing the smartphones and has outsourced to some OEM.
