Verizon has announced the names of Android devices in its portfolio that would be lucky to get the Ice Cream Sandwich update in the coming months. Telecom operator has not given any specific time-frame for these updates.

AT&T has announced that it will start selling Sony’s dual screen Tablet P from March 4. This Honeycomb tablet has been priced at $399.99 with the usual two year agreement. Consumers can also grab it for $549.99 without the agreement.

Verizon has announced that it will be exclusively retailing Samsung’s Honeycomb tablet Galaxy Tab 7.7 in the United States. According to a press note issued today, consumers will be able to grab the tablet from Verizon stores and its website from March 1.

Toshiba US has announced via its official Twitter account that Thrive will be getting the Android 4.0 update. This update will be released for both 7 and 10 inch models by the end of spring.
T-Mobile announces March availability for Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G
Samsung and T-Mobile have announced that Galaxy S Blaze 4G will be available starting late March. Part of Samsung’s Galaxy S line-up Blaze 4G support HSPA+ 42Mbps connectivity.
It features Android 2.3, 1.5GHz dual core Snapdragon S3 processor, 3.97-inch Super AMOLED display, 5 MP rear-camera and 1.3MP front camera.

As anticipated, Barnes & Noble has announced the 8GB version of Nook Tablet today. Targeted to compete directly with Amazon Kindle Fire, Nook Tablet 8GB has been priced at $199, the same price at which Fire is currently retailing. The 16GB version of Nook Tablet will continue to see for $249. On the other hand, Nook Color’s price has been reduced to just $169 now.
