Telecom operators Bell and Virgin Mobile have announced that they will start selling the first Ice Cream Sandwich smartphone at Yonge and Dundas in Toronto starting 1PM, December 7.

Remember the Android beast LG Optimus LTE, which was released in South Korea a few days ago on LG U+. Well, it seems we might actually see it outside Korean borders. The smartphone was spotted in Canada today as LG Eye and got a video demo by telecom operator Bell owned retailer The Source.

Regional telecom operators have released the availability details in UK, Australia and Canada. Starting first with Australia, Optus will be exclusively carrying the RAZR in the country. Motorola just sent out invitations for a Sydney press event scheduled for October 27. Octus logo is clearly visible in the invite also with the original RAZR Invitation line “Join us to celebrate the next big innovation from Motorola Mobility.” We expect to hear more on the actual availability at this event.

After United States, now Canadian users can rent movies from Android Market directly. The service, which was announced earlier in the year, allows Android users to rent movies from the Market app and then watch it on any Android device running 2.2 or above.
Samsung Galaxy S Glide coming to Rogers, 4G Galaxy S II X previewed
Samsung will be releasing two high-end Android smartphones on two different telecom operators in Canada soon. One of these smartphone Samsung Galaxy S Glide sports a slide-out QWERTY and will make its way to Rogers, while 4G Galaxy S II X is already known to be coming on Telus.
