Sony officially launches Xperia P, U and sola in India

Sony India has officially revealed three of company’s new smartphones in the country today.  These smartphones include Xperia U, Xperia P and Xperia sola. Powered by Android 2.3, these smartphones are scheduled to get Android 4.0 sometime later this year.

Sony Xperia U and Xperia Sola are already available in the market, while Xperia P is expected to go on sale next week.

According to the company, Xperia U, P and Sola are priced at Rs 17,399, Rs 25,799 and Rs 20,449 respectively.

Our new devices are a sign of the brand’s commitment to Indian users, especially youth, young professionals and upward mobile who would like to stay connected and access a range of services in voice, data and digital forms,” Sony Mobile marketing head Prasun Kumar told media today at a press event.

Company has also tied up with Tata Teleservices Ltd to provide with free data services up to 3GB with the purchase of its Xperia smartphones.

    I just bought the Sony Ericsson Xperia Sola from mnvcollections.com and I am dabbling with it. So far so good. Does anyone have any suggestions about any special features I should look out for?
