Honeycomb source code still months away

Waiting for Google to release the Android 3.0 aka Honeycomb source code, you might have to wait longer than expected. According to a report in BusinessWeek, Google says that it will delay the distribution of Honeycomb source code, at least for the foreseeable future.

The reason according to Google: Honeycomb is not yet ready to be altered by outside programmers and customized for other devices, such as phones.

While, large manufacturers already have the access to Honeycomb, small companies and developers will even have to wait for some months before getting their hand on the code.

It will surely piss off majority of open source enthusiasts.
