Droid Does a lot of things, but we did not know that it explodes too. According to a customer, Verizon Droid 2 smartphone exploded while he was trying to make a call.
He was injured in explosion, and got four stitches. The person wants compensation from Motorola and is planning to take legal action.
While Motorola has also issues an statement in this regard:
“Motorola’s priority is, and always has been the safety of our customers, and all Motorola products are designed, manufactured and tested to meet or exceed international and local standards for consumer safety. We will reach out to the consumer and investigate this thoroughly.”
While the reasons of explosion are still unknown, battery does not seems to be the culprit this time, and phone is still functioning. Check out the videos and images below.
