Sony Mobile has dropped this sad news for Xperia Play yesterday on its blog citing the stability problems. According to the company, a consistent and stable experience, particularly with gaming, cannot be guaranteed for Xperia Play on Ice Cream Sandwich. Thus, it won’t be releasing the update.
