Vivo X5MaxChinese smartphone vendor Vivo on Monday announced the launch of its products in the Indian market. The company is initially introducing five smartphones in the country, including its latest X5Max, which will be available in the coming days for INR 32,980.

Coming to the smartphones, Vivo X5Max is the thinnest smartphone in the world right now with 4.75mm thickness. It sports a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED full HD display and is powered by 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor.  In addition, the X5Max comes with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, 2000 mAh battery and Android 4.4-based FunTouch OS. The smartphone also packs 4G LTE support, 13MP rear camera with Sony IMX214 image sensor, 5MP front shooter and the usual set of connectivity options.

Vivo will also be releasing the X3S, XShot, Y15, and Y22 smartphones in the coming weeks, but has not shared any details about the exact availability or pricing. The company has simple stated that these phones will get a price-tag in between INR 7,000 and INR 40,000.

All Vivo smartphones will be sold via both brick and mortar stores as well as online.

  2. following Oppo’s footstep. instead of offering competitive pricing, they are making customers laugh and run away. slim = premium but with a lousy soc, this only got premium in the looks. only time will tell but from initial looks, this is another failure.

  3. No, Thanks… If I am spending 30k+ on a device.. I might as well spend it on branded devices like Samsung or LG or Sony. The thinnest device on this planet is of no use to me at this price range.
