  1. Again overpriced phone by samsung for few months. Btw m not interested in samsung.

  2. This is ridiculous! Samsung is mocking the people. This kind of overpriced phones shouldn’t even live to see the day!

  3. even the highend section is not safe from Samsung’s mobile spams. S5, S5 4G, S5 Premium or whatever it’ll be called, S5 Neo, S5 Mini. Oh God !!!

    1. @kaushiktalukdar:disqus – Not for nothing they’re called Spamsung LOL! 😛

But on a serious note, it’s really sad to see so little self-respect within the Samsung marketing team. And it’s not just them, but LG and Sony to some extent as well.

This is just eroding the brand value in the long run IMO. You cannot go far by pissing off the prosumers as much as SS has over the past two years. Once this disenchantment amongst the tech enthusiasts percolates down to the masses, it’s bound to negatively affect their bread-and-butter consumer durables department as well, beyond just phones and tablets.

      1. Even for a second if someone side with samsung for launching a phone in same lineup 6month after a flagship, it can be defended as due to increasing competition midyear refresh is becoming a necessity but launching same phone with 4G (and switching SOC therefore) for original price is just plain ridiculous.

And bang on with LG & Sony. At least in case of them, blame can be partly passed on to Qualcomm for delayed launch of Snapdragon 805 as next year it’ll 808/810 with 64bit stickers slapped all over the package. this year they don’t want to be left out of the party with 801 sitting on the back. but i am afraid this is slowly becoming a trend or media is making a monkey out of it. both ways, brand gets diluted.

  4. Pity on samsung people…on the other hand HTC M8 getting update on aug15 for 4G upgradation in same version.

  5. Samsung is a big time loser….they got ditched by Indian consumers and so they’ve launched the version that they launched in the whole world.. Except India…Samsung Sucks
