Oppo JoyOppo has unveiled a new Android smartphone in the form of Oppo Joy. This entry-level phone from the company will go on sale in Indonesia soon, however there is no word on release elsewhere.

Featuring a 4-inch WVGA display, the new Oppo Joy comes with Android 4.2 based Color OS, 1.3GHz dual-core processor, 3MP rear camera and 0.3MP front camera. The phone also packs 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, microSD card slot and 1700 mAh battery.

Dual-SIM support, 3G and other usual connectivity options are also present on the smartphone.

A competitor to Nokia’s X Android phone, it has been priced Rp. 1,699,000 (INR 8,900) and will be available in White and Black colour options.

Oppo Find 7 to be introduced in Malaysia on May 7

In other Oppo news, the company is going to launch its Quad-HD smartphone Find 7 in the Malaysian market on May 7. The company is hosting a press event on the day, where it will detail the pricing and availability info for the country.

To remind you, Oppo Find 7 features a 5.5-inch 2560x1400p display, 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of on-board storage, 3000mAh battery, and 13MP rear camera.

The phone has already been announced for Indonesian market, where it will on sale by the end of this month.
