Remember, we told you about Sony NSZ-GS8 back in April, well now Sony has officially launched this Google TV device. The company revealed in a blog post that NSZ-GS8 Internet Player with Google TV will be available beginning early-July in the United States for $199.99.
According to Sony, this Google TV device is the first from the company to feature voice search/ control function. A successor to the company’s previously released NSZ-GS7, it packs almost the same specifications apart from the voice search function and even the design is the same.
On the downside, NSZ-GS8 does not seem to be running on Android 4.2.2, which was introduced for Google TV at I/O 2013. Sony will probably be pushing an official OTA update for the same in the coming months.
