After taking pre-orders for some time, Micromax has started shipping its new 5-inch phablet A110 in the country today. Priced at INR 9,999, the smartphone replaces Micromax’s earlier launched A100 smartphone and will join company’s A101 in phablet category.

The smartphone is now available at online retailer Saholic and comes with dual-SIM connectivity and Android 4.0. Other features of the smartphone include 5-inch 854x480p IPS display, 1GHz dual-core processor, 8MP rear camera with LED flash and 0.3MP front camera.

On the connectivity front, the smartphone supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. There is a 2,000 mAh battery on-board too.

Micromax has been very active in the Indian smartphone scene for the last few months, company has launched smartphone at a great pace and at its peak company even released one device per week.

Micromax isn’t the only budget phone manufacturer trying to tap the phablet category, even iBall and Spice have released their own 5-inch smartphones.
