Samsung Galaxy S Plus goes on pre-order in India for INR 22,500
Flipkart has started taking pre-orders for another variant of original Galaxy S – Samsung Galaxy S Plus in India. Priced at INR 22,500, Galaxy S Plus is likely to go one sale starting next week.
Samsung Galaxy S Plus includes various features of positives of its predecessor along with several upgrades. It comes with a 1.4GHz Qualcomm processor, 4 inch Super AMOLED display, 5MP camera, VGA front cam, 512MB RAM, 1650 mAh battery and Android 2.3. As you can see processor and battery have got a boost.
With rumors of a possible launch of Galaxy R also in India soon, Samsung will have a lot of choices between 20K to 30K segment. It already rules entry-level devices with over five devices including Galaxy Y, which was launched today, priced under INR 15,000.
There is no date of Galaxy S Plus release, but don’t worry, we will be first to let you know as and when it happens.

Do you think it is possible to take this 1650 mAh battery and use it in the original Galaxy S?
Using the 1650 mah battery in the original galaxy should be possible I guess.
I read in one of the Galaxy SLCD (comes with a 1650 mah batt) reviews that they could fit the battery in galaxy S with its original back cover. Have not tried personally though.
