In a surprising move, Google India has released the official Galaxy Nexus sign-up page. In other words, India is now a part of selected countries, where buyers can now register and get notification about the smartphone’s availability in their respective country.
Similar pages were present at the time of Nexus S and Nexus One launch also, but India was never a part of them and we didn’t even see Nexus One’s official launch in the country. Nexus S was also made available after quite some amount of delay, but the situation seems to be a little positive this time.
Although there is no hint about it whatsoever apart from the sign-up page, but we might actually see the launch of Galaxy Nexus in India before the end of this year.
To remind you, Galaxy Nexus is the first Ice Cream Sandwich smartphone that features a TI OMAP 4460 1.2GHz dual core processor, 1GB RAM, 16/32GB internal memory, 5MP primary camera, 1.3MP front cam and 4.65 inch Super AMOLED HD display.
