Sony announces Xperia Arc S, coming in Q4

Sony Ericsson has just announced a quick upgrade to its popular Android smartphone Xperia Arc in the form of Xperia arc S. It will be available globally in selected markets from Q4 2011.

One of most important features of Xperia arc S is its ability to shoot both 2D and 3D panoramic photos, which can then be viewed on one of the company’s 3D Bravia TV sets.

According to the company, it also comes with 25% faster camera start up and media conversion, along with 20% faster web page rendering compared to the original Xperia arc.

That is not all, Sony also declared that Xperia smartphones that have been announced in 2011 including arc S will get to enjoy “Music Unlimited” and “Video Unlimited” in select markets including – USA, Italy, Spain, Germany, UK, France, Australia.
