Viewsonic might become the first company to launch a seven inch tablet running on Android 3.0 aka Honeycomb. According to Pocket Lint, company is preparing to launch the tablet at upcoming Computex trade fair.

Being dubbed as ViewPad 7x, this tablet will feature nVIDIA Tegra 2 Dual Core processor, front/rear cameras, DLNA, HDMI support and HSPA+ connectivity.

On the other hand, Viewsonic recently launched its Gingerbread powered ViewPad 4 and FroYo sporting dual-sim V350 smartphone in Taiwan. These devices will be sold for NT$14,900 (US$518) and NT$9,900 respectively.

  1. I like the look and I would expect it to be similarly priced if not lower than the gTab. Which would put it in the Nook Color price range. . . but you never know.
