Sony Ericsson has announced that much-awaited gaming Android phone Xperia Play has started launching in countries across the globe starting today. Xperia Play is now on sale in shops in the UK, Germany, Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Russia, Hong Kong and Taiwan with further availability in an additional 6 markets over the next 2 weeks.
Telekom launches Motorola Xoom in Germany
Motorola Xoom is moving fast! After entering US and Japan, the Android 3.0 Honeycomb powered tablet is now approaching Germany. The device will be available from April end for € 699.95 on Deutsche Telekom.
“The Motorola Xoom fits perfectly with our strategy for the best mobile Internet experience,” said Niek Jan van Damme, member of the Board of Management of Deutsche Telekom AG.

Now, ZTE is launching Blade in Germany with telecom operator E-Plus as Lutea. To remind Lutea comes with 3.5 inch touch screen, FM-radio, a 5-megapixel camera, 3GSM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and it comes with a 2GB micro SD card inbox and in-built memory of 300 MB.

HTC Thunderbolt making its way to Germany?
While we are still waiting for HTC Thunderbolt launch at CES tomorrow, HTCInside.de is claiming that HTC Thunderbolt might also land in Germany with 4G support, as the country is getting LTE this year.
LTE trials have already started in Germany, and HTC might be ready to cash on the opportunity. The leaked specifications are totally unbelievable considering current standards, they include Android 2.3, Qualcomm 1.2 Ghz processor, 8MP camera, 5 MP front camera [this is huge], UMTS, HSDPA, HSUPA, LTE support, 1800 mAh battery, 128 GB micro sd card support, 16 GB internal memory, and kickstand.
