Archos’ Android powered e-book reader 70b is now available on pre-order in France. It has been priced at €99 ($131) with expected shipping sometime in between end of December and before January 7 2011.
ZTE Blade coming to Orange and Bouygues Telecom in France
Orange version to be called Tactile Internet 2
This morning, we reported that ZTE has launched its Android smartphone Blade in France. We have more on that report. According to the latest information, Orange which had launched the smartphone back in UK as San Francisco will also be releasing the phone in France. The Orange France version will be called Tactile Internet 2.
Orange Tactile Internet 2 will be available starting Nov. 18. It will sell for 249 euros without any service plan and starting at 9 euros with a post-paid plan.

ZTE launches Blade in France
ZTE has launched its Android 2.1 smartphone Blade in France. It was launched as Orange San Francisco in UK sometime back and got rave reviews.
ZTE Blade comes with a 3.5″ multipoint capacitive touchscreen, with a resolution of 480×800 pixels, 3.2 mega pixel camera, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, Email, Internet, video player / recorder, MP3 player, FM radio, etc.

Orange to launch self-branded Android tablet
It seems operators are next in line after manufacturers to board the tablet train. According the latest bit from Les Echos, Orange France is working on a self branded Android tablet.
The tablet is rumoured to be priced somewhere around €250 (unsubsidized).
Samsung France to update Galaxy S in September
After Korea, it seems France would getting Froyo sweetness on Android powered Samsung Galaxy S. Samsung France recently said that Galaxy S will get Android 2.2 update in September.
It is not still clear that it is only the French version or other international version will also get Android 2.2. We hope to hear from Samsung soon.
Samsung Galaxy Naos and Galaxy Teos coming to France soon
French Android users will be soon getting a double treat of Samsung Android phones. According to the latest information from Le Journal Du Geek, Samsung Galaxy Naos and the Galaxy Teos are the apparent successors to the Samsung Galaxy Spica.

ZTE Link Android phone heading France
Chinese manufacturer ZTE has announced the launch of its Android based ‘ZTE Link’ on Bouygues Telecom in France. This is first Android smartphone made by ZTE to be launched in France.
Talking about the specs, its an entry level phone. Handset comes equipped with a 3.2 megapixel camera, GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, EDGE and 3G+ . It has a a 2.8 inch screen allowing for 4/3 high resolution of 320×240 pixels. Its vital measurements are 105 x 55 x 14.5mm and weighs in at a reasonable 120g.
Bouygues Telecom is selling the ZTE link with an 8 GB MicroSD card. Link is to be sold on a contract within a pre-agreed limit of EUR 29.
