Sony Mobile has officially started selling Android powered Xperia S in Singapore. It is the first Sony branded smartphone to land in the country. This Gingerbread phone can now be purchased at a recommended retail price of S$898 without contract from all major retail stores.

Verizon has announced the names of Android devices in its portfolio that would be lucky to get the Ice Cream Sandwich update in the coming months. Telecom operator has not given any specific time-frame for these updates.

Imangi Studios has announced that popular Temple Run Android version will be landing in Google Play store as a free game on March 27.
Game Description: Temple Run challenges players to test their reflexes as they race down ancient temple walls and along sheer cliffs. With endless gameplay, players collect coins as they jump, slide and run to escape the evil monkeys guarding the temple while avoiding obstacles.

Korean manufacturer will offer complimentary 90-day subscription of Norton Mobile Security to Samsung Galaxy smartphone users through Samsung Apps. A one-year license of Norton costs $29.99USD.
