Google Glass retail version might use Samsung’s OLED display: Report

South Korean media reports indicate that Samsung might be supplying OLED display panels for use in Google’s Glass wearable computing device. According to Korea Times, Google recently approved a proposal from Samsung Display to provide the display panels for its Project Glass.Google Glass Display

As the Explorer Edition of Project Glass is already being distributed to early-adopters, we believe that the Samsung display panels with be used in the retail version, which is expected to go on sale in early-2014.

AT&T to exclusively sell Galaxy S4 red colour variant in US

Hours after Samsung officially announced four new colour variants of Galaxy S4, telecom operator AT&T has announced that it will be exclusively stocking the red version in the United States. The telecom operator will begin taking pre-orders for this new colour version tomorrow; however it will be available on June 14.Samsung Galaxy S4 Red

The price of the smartphone remains same as other colours – $199.99 with a two-year agreement.

HTC First UK launch delayed indefinitely

UK telecom operator EE has confirmed to Android Central that Facebook has decided to hold off HTC First UK launch. The phone was supposed to launch in UK within months of US release, but now it looks like the phone might never make it to the country.HTC First

The official statement still suggests that Facebook is fixing issues with Facebook Home and chances are that an improved version of HTC First might be launched in UK on a later date, but it looks highly unlikely right now.

Five million HTC One units sold since launch: HTC exec

HTC might not have officially announced the unit shipments or sales of its flagship HTC One smartphone, but as per a report on WSJ, the company has already sold around 5 million units.HTC One

An unnamed HTC executive told Wall Street Journal that HTC One orders have been good so far but the company is struggling with the supplies.

“Orders are pretty good so far and are still more than what we can supply. This is partly due to the shortage of components. When the issue is resolved next month, we will have a better idea if it’s doing really well or not,” he told the publication.

Sony Xperia Tablet Z 3G priced at INR 44,990, now on pre-order

HTC announces Desire 600 with quad-core CPU and new Sense UI

Amazon Kindle Fire HD tablets go global, now on pre-order in 177 countries
