HP entered the Android tablet space with the announcement of Slate 7 yesterday. Company is beginning slowly and small; it does not want to jump in the premium right-away. Thus, the new HP Slate 7 – a budget Android tablet.
HP Slate 7 will be priced at USD 169, which makes it even cheaper than Nexus 7 and puts in the category of newly launched low-cost tablets like Asus Memo Pad and Acer Iconia B1. While, HP is a new entrant, both Acer and Asus have long been in the tablet game. Although Acer might not have seen too much successor, Asus’s Nexus 7 was pretty popular. Will HP’s new Slate 7 be able to take on tablet veterans? We will find out in this post.
