Samsung Galaxy Camera gets Android 4.1.2 update

If you are one of the few, who actually bought the Samsung Galaxy Camera, chances are that your camera will get an update notification the next time you connect to 3G or Wi-Fi. According to online reports, Samsung is rolling out a 7.39MB Android 4.1.2 update to this Android powered camera.

There is not much included in this update and the small change-log in the update notification reveals only stability improvements, however users are reporting that this update also brings the revamped Gallery app to the camera.

The update roll-out is worldwide (unconfirmed) and happening in phases, so if you don’t get it right-away don’t worry, you will get it soon.

Firmware version: BLL7

To remind you, Samsung Galaxy Camera was originally announced at IFA Trade Fair in Berlin last year and brings Android goodness in a point and shoot camera. It also includes 3G connectivity to ensure round the clock data support.

Galaxy Camera is great, but Samsung must have added call functionality too as it supports 3G.
