Intex Aqua 5.0 with Android 4.0 debuts in India for INR 9,990

Intex-Aqua-5.0After Micromax, S Mobility, Zync and iBall, now Intex has jumped to grab a pie of budget phablet market in India. The company today announced the launch of Intex Aqua 5.0 smartphone, which has been priced at INR 9,990.

Featuring Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, the smartphones comes with 5-inch WVGA display, similar to other budget phablets in the country. The smartphone also comes with 1GHz dual-core processor, 5MP rear camera, 1.3MP front camera and dual-SIM connectivity.

Other features of the phone include 2,000 mAh battery, 512MB RAM, 4GB internal storage, SD card slot, 3G, Bluetooth, and FM Radio.

The smartphone seems like a great competitor to Micromax’s Superfone Canvas 2 A110 smartphone, which has gained a lot of popularity in entry-level segment.

Intex is bundling a 4GB memory card, and NQ antivirus with every Aqua 5.0. The smartphone also comes pre-loaded with Flipkart, India Rail, Nimbuzz, Skype and other popular apps.

Intex Aqua 5.0 will be sold in Silver, Blue and Black colour options. The company also retails Aqua 3.2 and Aqua 4.0 smartphones as well as iBuddy and iBuddy 7.2 Android tablets.

    5-inch WVGA display(written over there ) may be updated or already exists.

    I think its having WVGA display.
