Sony Xperia Ion lands in India for INR 36K

Although still unannounced, Sony Xperia Ion has appeared online in the country. Available at Snapdeal, the smartphone has got a price-tag for INR 35,999.

Sony Xperia Ion features 4.6-inch HD display, Android 4.0 (Update: Not sure right now, we are waiting for official statement from Sony), 1.5GHz dual core processor, 12.1MP camera and 16GB of internal memory. It also comes with 1900 mAh battery and 1GB of RAM.

Originally showcased at Consumer Electronics Show, Sony Xperia Ion was initially an AT&T exclusive but later the Japanese manufacturer decided to release in Europe and Asia.

Sony has not officially announced the smartphone in the country till now.
