Sprint to release software update for HTC Evo 3D

Sprint is going to release a minor software update for HTC Evo 3D users. This update will be available for via manual initiation today, but the OTA notifications are going to start on January 17.

You can either go to Menu > Settings > System updates > HTC software update > Check now, to manually initiate the update download or wait for the automatic notification.

Software Version: 2.17.651.5

• Battery life improvements
• Security update

Update may be released in stages. When checking for the update, you may receive a message that no update is available, check back later or wait until the update notification is sent to your device.
