Google Nexus S launches on Sprint

500x nexus s Google Nexus S launches on SprintConfirming the existing rumors, Google announced on its blog today that Sprint will soon start selling Nexus S 4G for $199.99 with a new two-year service agreement or eligible upgrade. According to Google, Nexus S 4G integrates Sprint‘s existing 4G technology in the phone to provide faster data transfers.

To remind you HTC Evo 4G was the first 4G Android phone to be launched on the telecom network in US.

The specifications of Nexus S 4G remains same as other version, it features a 4” Contour Display , 1GHz Hummingbird processor, front and rear facing cameras, 16GB of internal memory, and NFC (near field communication) hardware.

Nexus S 4G will be able for purchase this spring online and in-store from Sprint retailers and Best Buy and Best Buy Mobile stores in the U.S.

Along with same the announcement, Google has also stated that Sprint customer will be able to use their existing ph number on Google Voice.  Alternatively, Google Voice users can choose to replace their Sprint number with their Google Voice number when placing calls or sending text messages from their Sprint handset.
